Dr Hulme EyeCare & Dry Eye Center

10/10! I visted Dr. Christopher Ricke, OD at Hulme Eyecare in Loveland for a determination as to whether I needed cataract surgery, as another optometrist said that I might. Dr. Ricke confirmed that I did have that need and referred me to Dr. Cullen Ryburn, MD (opthalmology) at Vance Thompson Vision. After multiple very thorough evaluations, Dr. Ryburn performed the surgery at the Loveland Surgical Center. I was then sent back to Dr. Ricke for 3 post-surgery examinations (over the course of a month) and eye-glass prescription. The entire experience, including the bottom-line outcome (my vision!) was flawless. All players handled the procedure without a single fumble and at the highest level of competence one could ask for. As is easily imagined, a lot of multi-party communications were necessary throughout. All went perfectly without confusion. Dr. Ricke and the team (office staff, optometric assistants, and opticians) at Hulme Eyecare Center were first rate in their service. Communication was excellent, which is extremely important to me especially b/c I had so many questions to which I needed informative answers before agreeing to have surgery performed on the only two eyeballs I will ever have. I will forever appreciate Dr. Ricke's counsel, both pre-surgery and post. I should mention that staff at the Loveland Surgical Center was excellent as well, both during the procedure and in following up with me after it. This is the way medicine should be practiced but too seldom is! All of these folks set the standard, and I thank recommend them all.

Just have to give a shout out once again as I had only had my glasses for a couple months & had broken an ear piece off yesterday. I work children so lots of accidents for me through the years with wearing glasses. So thankfully, I did have a warranty on them. Ran them over near end of their work day on a Wednesday & they were able to pull my same frame off the wall, switch my lenses & for a small fee in accordance with my warranty policy, I was back in business!!! No shipping them off, no waiting on the return. Plus some great conversations & lots of laughter with the amazing team members! Highly recommend this eye center!!

Dr. Ricke and staff are kind, caring, professional and very efficient. I am so glad I had to opportunity to see them again this year for my diabetic eye exam. The technology they have on site for testing is impressive. I now look forward to going to see them, instead of dreading getting my eyes dilated, like at other offices. Thank you for taking such great care of my eye health!

An amazing place. I deal with a good amount of eye problems, I'm grateful to have a place that takes care of me like they do. Great people work here
